The REGATTA
Once you have reached Level 15 and built the Yacht Club, you are able to start/join a Regatta Neighborhood! If you form a new Neighborhood, you are the "Leader". You can appointment other team members as "Elders", this gives them the ability to delete tasks, approve new members and remove non-elder members from group. Neighborhoods hold a maximum 30 players, but only ONE person is needed to participate in the Regatta.
Regatta's run every Tuesday to Sunday!
As your team completes tasks you gain points. Points go toward moving your team to the next buoy (reward). Your team's standing depends on how many tasks are available to each player and amount of possible rewards.
Choose your task off the board by clicking or tapping it. If you have finished all your tasks, you can purchase additional tasks with gems.
If a task is deleted by elder or leader, it will take time to regenerate a new one.
Once you have chosen your task, it will appear on main game screen. Your current "being worked on" task will show on right side of screen. It will tell you how much you have done of what you need to do.
Tap that spot and hold it for the particulars of task... what you have done and still left to do and time you have left to do task.
Click "SEARCH" and it will show you area that is "required" to complete your task.
Green checkmark, all done! On to the next!
**BE ADVISED** When choosing a Regatta Task closer to end of Regatta, some task times may appear RED. You can still choose this task but the allotted time for it will expire before Regatta ends.
Neighborhood ~ Donating, Requesting & Chatting

In the middle left of your Main Island screen, is a small Tab. This is your Neighborhood chat, request and donate area. Click/tap to open.
To request an item(s), you can't choose the amount, it is predetermined based on the item, click on the green "REQUEST" button. A window will come up allowing you to request, choose from barn or silo items. Once you have selected, it will show up to your neighbors in the chat pane.
Your neighborhood members will "donate" to you the item(s) requested. To donate, click the green "DONATE" button on the request, one time for each individual item you donate.
Once the request has been fulfilled, click/tap the green "TAKE" button.
Each donation is given 3 hours to fulfill. Even if request is filled in less time, you can't request again until 3 hours from previous request. At the end of 3 hours, you can collect what has been donated, if not fulfilled.
What's the advantage to helping/donating to your neighbors?

**NEWLY ADDED REGATTA CONTENT Summer 2019 ==>>
CAPTAIN'S STORE/REGATTA SEASONS/TASK TOKENS
Regatta Seasons: Themed seasons (Polynesian, Viking, etc.) have been added to the Regatta. The seasons are chosen by Funky Bay (Game). A season will run approximately 4 weeks plus an Inter-Season Regatta. (see lower in page)
The Captain's Store is located by your Yacht Club on the main game screen.
Inside the store you will see items for purchase with your Regatta Task Tokens. There will be decorations featured with current Regatta Season theme and other useful goodies. Items will be available entire duration of Season and may only be purchased ONCE EACH in that time.
Items are purchased with Tokens, earned by completing your Regatta tasks. In picture below, pink circled shows the amount of POINTS achieved for completing the task. Gold circled shows the amount of TOKENS earned for completing the task.
Throughout the Season's @ 5 weeks, regular (daily) players are sure to earn more than the MAXimum of 500 tokens. Purchase items to stay below maximum or forfeit the tokens over 500. Unused tokens from the season WILL carry over to the next Season.
Inter-season is the time for the Neighborhood to sail with it's players completing tasks to get to the last buoy, without competing against other teams. Each task (somewhat similar to your normal Regatta tasks) gives 1 buoy. For each milestone reached, everyone from the Neighborhood gets the prize(s) shown. A good team will collect MANY great items! If your team finishes ALL the tasks, an additional task round is purchasable with gems.
