Trees when planted, will produce 3 fruits, 3 times. After 3rd harvest, tree will "die" and have to be chopped down. Different trees use different types of saws to cut them down. When cut down, tree will produce: wood.
Bushes produce leaves and/or fruit. Dead bushes need to be removed by saw or shovel depending on type of bush.
